This mini-collection looks back on a hugely successful concept from the past. The Fish concept has always been about making quick, responsive boards that work in small waves, and that’s exactly what this years OXBOW FISH collection does. They’re a small wave specialist with lots of width through the tail and a predominantly flat planing area producing an early planing, fast shortboard that surfs in small waves where a regular shortboard does not. PERFORMANCE SHORTBOARD

Continuing to represent the cutting edge of shortboard design, this year's completely revamped range focuses on broadening the use of the boards to get maximum surfing time without losing performance. A cross between a Fish and a Modern Shortboard, these "Hydrid" Shortboards represent the ultimate in versatility, utilizing a modern shortboard rocker line with single concave, coupled with a Fish styled wider nose and wider swallow tail. The boards come standard as a Thruster with G5 FCS fins, but we've added an extra two sets of fin inserts that allow you to experiment with the latest and greatest of fin advancements, the quad fin set-up. Simply take out the center fin and replace with an appropriate set of twin fins and you have a quad fin ride in a matter of seconds. A mix of a performance orientated shortboard with a Mini-Malibu ease of use, the Hybrid is a great "do it all" kind of board, mixing a user friendly rocker line, much like a Mini-Malibu, with a shortboard outline creating a small board look with a big board ease of use.

LONGBOARD

Classic all-rounders was the design criteria for the longboard collection. Tried and tested and proven designs that we know work. Both boards start with a concaved nose for great noseriding, and then move into a slight V through the mid-section and heavier V with a fair amount of rocker in the tail for easy handling. The 9'0" leans more towards sharper turns along with maneuvers and is comfortable in bigger surf.

STAND UP PADDLE BOARDS

The 10' Sup is all about wave riding with maximum maneuverability. Not so different with regard to volume compared to the 11' it may be 1ft shorter but it packs its volume in its significantly increased width, this gives a board that's more maneuverable when riding waves without any loss of stability when stationary. The 11' is more of an all-round cruiser. It likes to paddle in straight lines and does so well and quick with its significantly longer waterline length, giving a faster and better tracking board for paddling distance.
